Normal Pokemon take one admin approval, 2 mod approvals.
Name: This part is just something you go by as a Pokemon. You could use part of your Pokemon’s name or cry, or you could come up with your own name your Pokemon identifies as.
Species: What kind of Pokemon are you? If you put a Legendary here, you are forewarned that you WILL have to prove you can roleplay as one of the few legendaries there are.
Gender: Some Pokemon are genderless. You can give them a gender they identify as, and certain Pokemon (such as Legendaries) can be given gender (Don’t give Magnemite or similar pokemon gender. It doesn’t have one for a reason.)
Age: How long has your character been around.
Height: How tall is your character?
Weight: How much does your character weigh?
Date of Birth: What day did your character come into being?
Distinguishing Markings: Things that might make you stand out from other members of your species. Pictures are welcome.
Appearance: OPTIONAL can be a picture or a description of how your character looks. This is best when your Pokemon is very very different from other members of its species. Doing it anyway will get you some staff recognition.
Location: This is where you start out. It needs to be a plausible location, no Magmortars hanging around in Viridian forest.
Level: It also needs to fit where you’re found. No level 90’s in Viridian Forest either. Levels will also be subjected to approval by staff.
RP Sample: This is one of the ways Staff evaluate your aptitude for levels and Legends. The minimum is a paragraph, but with only a paragraph, you’re not going to get very much in the way of respect. FYI
History: Mostly optional, for Pokemon anyway. If applying for a character above level 30/a Legendary, however, you need at least a paragraph (For Legends, keep in mind a paragraph isn’t all that impressive.)
Personality: Behavioral traits of your character. Minimum of a Paragraph.
Strengths: What makes your character a good fighter? Feel free to list type strengths here too.
Weaknesses: What works against your character? Feel free to put Type weaknesses here too.
Ability: Your character’s latent ability. These are innate traits that aren’t expressed at will, only when needed or at all times. An example would be that many Legends use Pressure, which causes double PP usage. If you want to give your character a non-canon or un-matched Ability, Staff will have to determine if it’s plausible or not overpowered.
Attacks/Moves: You can have up to 8 attacks per pokemon.
Moves are formatted like this:
Name:
Type:
Effect:
Hold Item: Wild Pokemon can only hold items like Berries, while captured Pokemon can hold any item their trainer gives them.
PokeBall Type: An optional field for Captured Pokemon. What kind of Poke Ball you were captured in.
